Summary
This workforce competence is concerned with the competence required to determine the procurement strategy and associated procedures to be used in a procurement plan. Contractual arrangements include formal contracts (or sub-contracts) and agreements.

2. PM24 - Develop contractual arrangements

Summary
This workforce competence is concerned with the competence required to develop contractual arrangements and options as part of the function of managing contracts. In smaller projects and in work packages, the manager is likely to be responsible for the majority of the key decisions and actions. In larger projects or programmes, a number of key decisions may need to be referred to, or verified, by those in higher authority.

3. PM25 - Review and select tenders

Summary
This workforce competence is concerned with the competence required to analyse and select tenders for contracting arrangements. In smaller projects and work packages, the manager is likely to be responsible for making the majority the key decisions and actions. In large projects or programmes, a number of key decisions may need to be referred to, or verified by, those in higher authority.

4. PM26 - Verify contract arrangements are in place

Summary
This workforce competence is concerned with the competence required to ensure contractual arrangements are in place, and that they meet the requirements of the work and comply with organisational policy and procedures for managing contracts. In smaller projects and/or work packages, the manager is likely to be responsible for making the majority of the key decisions and actions. In larger projects and/or programmes, a number of key decisions may need to be referred to or verified by those in higher authority.
